Just thought I'd mention that the everybodyfields new album hits stores next Tuesday. From what I've heard, it sounds like another winner. If you're a fan of country/folk, I recommend you give it a listen.

Between their website and myspace page, you can hear four complete songs from the new album. There are samples of the rest up on Amazon.com. Their sound is a little harder with electric guitar instead of dobro and, for the first time, percussion. Still, the quality songwriting is still there.

ReplyDeleteThis recording does have some drums on it. Echols, if you'll remember from Brewer's Jam, they had a drummer and electric guitar that night. Since then I've seen them sans percussion. Their line-up is flexible, all revolving around Jill and Sam at the core. The electric sound is great, and I can't wait to hear it on these new studio cuts.

According to their tour schedule, they're going to give a performance at the Disc Exchange in Knoxville on Tuesday. I don't know what time or which Disc Exchange though.
