The Appalachian State Mountainers went to Ann Arbor this afternoon and defeated the 5th-ranked Michigan Wolverines. A nice opening salvo for the 2007 college football season, I'd say.

ABSOLUTELY, we were watching game day coverage and a friend commented Michigan was going to be a 2008 championship contender. Way to go APP STATE! The commentators just pointed out what a hard-nosed game it was, so congrats again to APP STATE from WV, "THE OTHER MOUNTAINEERS."
