Tree Farm

Living in the country has some perks - one of them is tree farms in December. We like Saunders', in Talbott, TN.
I know, you can drive up to any store and buy one already cut. But I like soft white pines, and I like knowing the tree was grown by a local farmer. I believe we looked at every tree they had, trying to find the perfect one to take up residence in our living room.
Sawing the tree down isn't as easy as it looks, and it became a group effort.
Mr. Saunders helps wrap the tree we've cut in netting for the ride home.

They even provide hot apple cider and candy canes to make it a complete Chistmas experience.

Very nice. I sure would like to see another picture of that yellow, red, and black vehicle.
