Silos

This area is packed with small family farms, although their numbers are dwindling fast. Along with the fields of corn and small cattle herds you see old silos. Rusted metal or vine-covered concrete, symbols of a disappearing way of life.






And then, there are these. So clean, so modern, so efficient. I don't like them.

When you grow up around these things you tend to not even notice them. There are several great silos here in my neck of the woods also. Great pictures, great post!
