Great! I never realized there were tribes other than the Cherokee in the southern Appalachian Mountain area. Looking forward to the next episode.

That was fascinating. Thanks for all the in-depth research. I'd love to hear more about how the Eastern Band of Cherokees (those who remained in NC and didn't walk the Trail of Tears) and the Appalachians settlers got along in the Smoky mountains.
